Vicksburg Toyota dealership serving Mississippi. It’s a name that is not unfamiliar to any car owner. The Japanese manufacturer has stood tall and broad rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest and most successful automotive manufacturers in the world. Employing over 300,000 people and having revenue nearing 20 trillion at the current time Toyota is clearly and easily the largest automotive manufacturer in the world in terms of sales. And the umbrella company Toyota Group is one of the largest conglomerates in the world. Well that’s enough background. But I thought it would serve to give some reasoning as to why I went for a Toyota for my new family car. The company is big, reliable and strong, and the cars its produces echo the same traits.
However I met a huge challenge when i had to make the ever increasingly difficult decision which was, which automotive dealership do I turn to for my new Toyota. I had had some very bad experiences in the past with dealerships all over the US, most of them making promises on their site or over the phone but failing to deliver when I arrived. So I was determined to not make the same mistake again, and I made sure I didn’t by doing my research this time. I asked friends and family that had all bought Toyotas before and also asked around on the internet and I was reliably pointed towards Vicksburg Toyota by many of my friends. A big bonus was that I lived in the area so the dealership was close by however I was told by many people from areas as far as LA that had travelled to Vicksburg Toyota, but why? That was the question I found myself asking. And as soon as I myself arrived at Vicksburg Toyota all my questions were answered instantly.
As soon as I stepped into the gleaming dealership I was greeted by a friendly member or staff who asked me if she could help. She directed me to the sales person I had spoken to on the phone and we sat in the office for over an hour discussing my needs thoroughly. There was a real sense that they cared about what I wanted and needed, and were not just trying to palm me off with any old Toyota that I didn’t want. After the chat over a coffee, we went onto the showroom and the salesman walked me around the cars that best suited me. He told me in great detail about the features and condition of the car ( as i was in the market for a used car) and then we went for a test drive. I was incredibly happy with the service and more importantly with the level of choice that was available to me and the lack of pressure. I decided to take the second car i saw and we went on to discuss a range of price packages. Every step of the way the Vicksburg Toyota team were very helpful and i was transferred over to the payment team who again advised me in a clear and transparent fashion. The fact that they had specific staff for different functions showed me that they cared about the quality of each element of their service, which was both impressive and helpful.
I really don’t think there is any Toyota Dealership that caters to the Mississippi area as well as Vicksburg Toyota. They have the largest and most eclectic range of Toyota cars, vans and trucks both new and old, and have the impeccable service and customer care to support this.

Jim Ellis Audi a statement of class. Those four rings are known throughout the world and evoke style, power, reliability and class. The Audi is one of the most sought after and most beautiful car brands in the world, and for very good reason. For the few that don’t know, Audio is the luxury brand positioned under the Volkswagen brand. The German brand produces everything from the Supermini to SUVs, however does all of this with its own elegance, grace and touch of fine class. Since test driving an Audio R8 about 5 months ago I have fallen head over heels for the Audi. The exhilaration I got was somewhat comparable to what i got when I drove my first Ferrari for the first time. The effortless beauty that Audio oozes from its base models all the way up to its supercars is something that astounds me. So much so that I have had my heart set on an Audio A8 ever since stepping foot in my first Audi. And I have finally got enough resources together to make this personal dream of mine a fully fledged adrenalin fuelled reality. And I really can’t wait. However the biggest problem that arises for me over the last few weeks was finding the right dealer. There are thousands of Audio dealers dotted all over the country, all claiming they offer the best price plans, the largest selection of cars or just the best customer service. Each one of them literally biting your hand off and almost bribing you to visit their showrooms after a mere inquisitive phone call. So sifting through the talkers to find the walkers was a difficult task and the most difficult task of all.
However I enlisted the help of some close friends, two of which are diehard audio fanatics that have spent more on the brand than most people would on a small house. I asked for their opinions on the best dealership, and they were more than happy to help. That wasn’t enough though. I then cross checked what they said with internet forums, and finally came to a conclusion. The choice that kept cropping up was a name I had definitely heard before. It was Jim Ellis Audi Atlanta. I was given several very compelling reasons why all other Audio dealerships should be disregarded in favour of this one, and these included things like. Jim Ellis is a name that is incredibly trusted in the auto industry. They are well established, and nothing shows this more than the fact that this year it is their 40th year anniversary. On top of that the dealership has won several awards, most notably the Audi Magna Society award for the 4th year in a row. And to add to all of this I was told both on the internet and by my friends that they have the largest and most diverse range of Audis anywhere in America. This in itself was an incredibly bold statement and one that I just had to check the validity of, so I went down.
I was truly blown away and incredibly shocked. The first thing I noticed was a really high level of customer service the Jim Ellis Audi staff really listened to me, and I mean really listened. They directed me to what they thought would best suit me and to my huge surprise they were absolutely right. I was in the dealership less than an hour, which is less time than I’ve ever spent in one considering this was the largest I had been in. Within that one hour they had listened to my needs and wants, had directed me to three cars that met them, and suggested and explained the best price plans for my budget. In less time than it takes to watch a soccer game I was in and out with my perfect Audi. It seems as if it really is a no brainer to get down to Jim Ellis Audi Atlanta if you are looking for the perfect Audi be that new or used. Even if you live no way near Atlanta, it is worth the travel for that perfect Audi.

Why are keywords important? I have spent the last two articles on finding keywords and using them in such a way they show up in the search engines. But let us take a look at some other uses for keywords. On site is one of the best utilization of keywords. There are a few places to use keywords:
- In pages (articles/ post)
- Title tags
- Meta descriptions
- Tags
- Categories
- Navigation
- Anchor text on pages (in articles)
- URL
In pages we are talking about articles. You want to take one keyword and use it in the article. The keyword should be the subject of the article and it should be a unique article not one that has been spun numerous times.
Title tags hold a lot of weight in Google and should be used in the title tags and the first sentence of the article as well as the last paragraph of the article and sprinkled through out the article you want to change up the keyword.
If this is a blog it comes with a few things that help the article be organized in such things as RSS feed tags and categories. You want to make sure you have your keywords in these. Something most people do not know is that tags are comma deliminated so they do not need spaces. Something for the cocktail party. You also want to make sure if you are using a CMS such as wordpress are used in categories. In wordpress and other cms categories will also be used as naviagation.
If you are not using CMS then you will want to use keywords for the navigation that you use.
Anchor text is a keyword that has been used as a link to another page in the website and also as a link to another website. You want to make sure you mix up the anchor text

Where do you use these keywords you just found. Let us first define which keywords are for search engine optimization (SEO) and which are for pay per click (PPC). The broad terms we started out with in the last post, Honda, car loans, used cars, etc., are best for PPC. The local keywords, Honda los angeles, used cars los angeles, etc., are best for SEO (if you are in a real competitive local market PPC is always an option as well). Let us look at the two a little more closely.
Pay Per Click (PPC) The Easy Way
PPC is good for the braod terms such as car loans. Car loans would be a very difficult term to rank for naturally. It has very ough competition for large corporations such as Chase, lending tree etc. Also if you are a car dealer in Portland Maine ranking for car loans is not going to do you much good. You will get leads from people all over the country. With PPC you can geo target meaning you can tell google where you want your ad to display. SO if I am sitting in my home in Portland maine and you are running google ad and geotarget it for Portland maine only then that is the only city it will show up in. I will see your ad and come in to your dealership to buy a car.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) For Car Dealers
SEO is good for more local search results. Portland Honda would be a good candidate for SEO. As much as peple claim SEO is free it is not free. Most will outsource this and will have to pay someone to do the work. If you have someone in your dealership do this then there is still a cost assoicaite with having that peroson do the work. Portland Honda is a good one for local seo because it would not take as much work to get the site to rank for theis term.
The SEO Lie
Let us take a look at some cold hard facts about SEO. The top three results get sixty percent of the traffic with the number one position getting 40 percent. If you type in Honda Portland into google you will noticed 3 paid ads (PPC) and then there is google maps. The right hands side has the paid ads (PPC). When you scroll down just past the google maps you come to the organic search results, SEO results. Needless to say the number 1 position in the organic results is not getting 40 percent.

How do you find keywords for a car dealer? The Google keyword tool is a great place to start your research. You can type in a word and Google will come back with some suggested keywords to look at as well. Google does this so you can spend more on Adwords. That is why they are a multi billon dollar a year company. There are some oddities that you should keep in mind. The best way is with an example:
Hyundai Sonata 823,000
Sonata Hyundai 823,000
Google Lies
One of these is not correct. It is the Sonata Hyundai. I would venture to say that one is but 5% of the Hyundai Sonata results. The competition is lower for Sonata Hyundai and that is the clue that they are not the same. People still bid on Sonata Hyundai because there is traffic.
So let us now get to the point of finding keywords. You want to start with very broad keywords (and these are the terms you will want to use ppc and geotarget with). It does not make sense for a Honda dealer in Omaha Nebraska to rank for Honda in the organic search results (SEO Search engine optimization). So some broad keywords are
Car loans
Model (Honda)
Used cars
Honda service
Finding Good Keywords
The next step is to find variations for these keywords and that is where the google keyword tool can come in handy. Let us look at car loans and a model and see what comes up. Here are a few examples.
Car loans
Auto loans
Bad credit car loans
Used car loan
Car loan
Loan for car
Honda
Honda Accord
Honda dealer
Honda dealership
Honda dealer Los Angeles
Los Angeles Honda
Honda Los Angeles
So we have singular and plural to keep in mind.
Add the main metro to keywords this is what we call “local search results and can be a little easier to rank for. Kia Bakersfield will be much easier to rank for then say used car New York, So there still can be high competiton even for “local” searches.
Make
Make + Model
Competitor cities
I hope you are getting the hang of finding keywords and use Google keywords tool just understand its limits.

I have a magic bullet, Internet Marketing for car dealers. Buy this and the traffic will pour in. You will have a bazillion sales in 34 seconds and you will have to hire hundreds to keep up. It seems like that is the story in the Internet marketing biz. It is not just in car dealer Internet marketing either. Of course from many new products you might actually get a few leads but it is consistency and traffic on demand for one that we want. With out traffic no business is in business for long. Traffic means sales if we set everything up right. So now that we know it is going to take some effort online as well. Let us define some of the basics for online marketing success.
- The ability to have traffic and lots of it
- From the traffic we want to make sure it procduces qualtiy leads that generate sales
- Reputation management – you can have all the traffic in the world but if you have a terrible reputation online (and that is worse then word of mouth by the way) you will not get quality leads or not as many as you could have.
- Is yor online sales funnel setup to capture leads? I have looked at alot of PPC campaigns and most are not setup for lead capture. They are setup to give Google and the PPC companies alot of your money
- Do you have a strong email campaign that turns one time customers into life long customers?
- Do you dominate the organic search results with your brand? Does your competitor own your own space (dealership name and city) in organic search?
- Are you paying too much for tv ads or think it is too expensive now?
- Do you outsource this and what metrics are you looking at to make sure you are getting results?
Well that should keep you plenty bussy. Yes, there are a few things that can bring in the lion share of leads. There are a few key things for reputation management and social media is perfect for it.
